Ident Presentation

The presentation needed to begin with a short history lesson. I am aware that most people my age don't know about these films, and especially why they are called spaghetti westerns.

After that I described the main elements of the films, such as characters, music and location and the implications they will have on my idents.

  1. This is a really good presentation and collection of all your research, you have provided you with lots of background information, which is good for us who no nothing about it :) Its really good that you have developed a clear theme and style already. You are also amazing because you have started your own and it is so so good :) i think it could be a final. However you need to make your target market slightly clearer, are you directing your idents towards people who already watch westerns or are you encouraging people to watch them? We think to improve your research so far you should include some idents, even if it is just ones that you like and want to take influences from them.

  2. Hello Ed!

First of all, it was hard at first trying to a weakness in you presentation, other than it being very word heavy. (Which of course we know was more beneficial to us understanding more about spaghetti westerns.)

You've clearly chosen a subject that you enjoy and that suits you as well as selecting an appropriate audience and tone. You've also chosen a suitable channel and you've even gone one step further and picked a time slot!

However, I think you've a bit bogged down intruding to incorporate the film 4 time slot. Is it really needed or is it something you might re consider at the end? (After all, you where the only one to actual make a test indent. ;D )

You've researched into both sides of the film design (cover/poster wise) as not to alienate your audience with modern re makes that they might not be used too.

Overall, a very informative presentation and I look forward to seeing the finished results.
